We got a table without a reservation, but you should definitely reserve as there aren't too many other restaurants. We were served nice and courteous, even the boss "lends a hand". The food was also served quickly and was delicious.

The restaurant has a large menu. I ordered the dish with grilled chicken breast and rice with vegetables. It was delicious. Very friendly service. Cozy interior and the toilet is clean. This restaurant is a very good option for lunch in Waldeck, as not that many places are open in the old town at this time of day.

We have been to this restaurant very often when we visit the Edersee. The food is freshly prepared and just delicious ...... Price performance is excellent in our view. The menu is varied and does not only include the usual grill dishes. The service is friendly and attentive. The landlord is not just a landlord but sees himself as a good host. The only negative: Unfortunately we are not the only ones who really like this place ... Reservations (also at lunchtime) are highly recommended.
